Sergeant Tim Ansell fought with 27-yr-old Jacob Brown following he held a weapon to the throat of his fellow officer Sgt Marc Foster.

PC Wolstencroft pulled his stun gun and sought a clear shot, ending the struggle to an end.

Sgt Ansell stated audibly: "Can I get assistance on my throat now, I got knifed in the neck."

Sgt Ansell suffered multiple deep cuts to his throat and additional injuries to his limbs and body, whereas Sgt Foster received cut injuries.

Officials stated Sgt Foster utilized his palms to stem his colleague's hemorrhaging before paramedics reached the scene.
