The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant tournament

The rising star maintains considerable online following

The young golfer will have multiple high-profile cheerleaders as she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, operates numerous international courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He practically advised me to compete and relax," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with running the country, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He is the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that involving Kai brings the sport to different demographics, specifically among the next generation.

The social media influencer has a massive following and has started her own fashion and living company.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
